Exploring Canada

Adventure and exploration have always been knocking at my door step. Settling for a mediocre life has never been an option. Staying in Ontario has never been an option. With a dying vehicle, little money and parents who have been hesitant to encouraging me to leave the country, that left no choice but to explore my own country. From the East to the West, I've seen almost all of it. From South to North, I've seen the South (I can do without Nunavut - no offence).
With friends in British Columbia, I packed my bags after my second year of university and went to see the West Coast. Mountains, ocean and fresh air stole my heart. But alas, a commitment to university stood in the way of staying.
With a need for a job and an itch to not spend one more summer in Ottawa, I packed my bags to go work in Jasper Alberta. The Rocky Mountains left my jaw on the ground with a permanent dent in my heart. But once again, there was a one more year commitment to university and with graduation so near in sight, I packed my bags and begrudgingly flew back to Ontario.
Alas, graduation arrived. But with a lot of red numbers in the bank account I besieged my loving parents to allow me to move back home to attend teacher's college. However, that itch to travel was still present. My father retired, and I ever so persuasively talked him into taking a road trip with me. We packed our bags, rented a car and drove through the Eastern provinces for ten days. The East in the summer captured my attention, but the weather network kindly reminded me of the tragic winters and I decided summer vacation was good enough.
So, here I am with two months left in Kingston Ontario. On weekends when I'm not trying to get my bank account back into the black, you might find me exploring my own province, or even Quebec.
All of that to say, compiled are some exploration pictures of Canada. British Columbia not included because of a computer crash!
